The old woman wants people to stop being money hogs because people used to be crazy about freedom and now they’re crazy about money. She’s already too late. She also wants to learn about Africa because she doesn’t know much about Africa, but most blacks were born in US, not in Africa. She doesn’t get neither of them and it’s bad because she still doesn’t know what she wants to know about and peoploe stay as money hogs.

Walter only wants money and that’s all he cares about. He used the old woman’s money but loses the money and it’s good because he learned a lesson.

I think Beneatha wants love and money because she had 2 “boyfriends” and they were both rich. She didn’t really get them and her character was very unclear.
